Recently it has come to our attention that there is a misconception about our service policies and procedures. We would like to set the record straight at this time on behalf of all of our service technicians located throughout the Canadian provinces, and especially on behalf of the dedicated customer service personnel who work tirelessly at providing unmatched service for all of our valued customers.
Although Titan Alarm is based in Edmonton, Alberta, it is not just another Edmonton alarm company. Titan serves all of the Canadian provinces with the exception of Quebec. Just because the headquarters of Titan Alarm are located in Edmonton, alarm systems that are installed outside of Edmonton are still serviced by a number of regional technicians to insure prompt and effective service for all of our customers, regardless of location.
Although in some rural areas it may take a bit longer to have someone come and service your system, it is our policy to be as prompt as possible. The reason why we take such extensive measures to have regional technician teams available, even outside of Edmonton, is so that people in other cities and rural areas don’t have to settle for out-dated, ineffective equipment and service based on their geographic location.
Rumors such as this one (below) that was posted on a community Facebook page are inaccurate and discredit our dedicated staff that work around the clock to ensure that all of our customers are very well taken care of:
“…you get no support after the 2 weeks that the sales guys are in the area... they move on to another town and in fall, back to college, and the entire company doesn't do anything over winter to service clients!”
While it is true that our promotional reps work seasonally (would you want to be out knocking on doors in the dead of winter?). They make up only a small percentage of the staff that sustains the smooth operation of this company. There is no way that we would be as successful or have the high reviews that we do if we only worked in the summertime. We are constantly at work for you to make sure your family is safe and protected 24/7/365—even if you live in a very remote area.
It is not surprising to us at all that the above remarks came from an employee of a local alarm company in the area for which this Facebook page was made. Many local companies try to discredit our efforts in order to promote the view that what they offer is the only choice homeowners have when it comes to protecting their family. While we can’t speak for other Edmonton alarm companies, our policies do not include forgetting about all of our customers outside of the Edmonton area after their systems have been installed—in fact, it is quite the opposite.
We are constantly developing new and improved technology with our partners in order to offer our customers the best equipment possible to protect their homes. We are passionate about making this technology available to a wide market, as we feel that no one should have to sacrifice the safety of their family because they live in a remote location. By offering our services outside of the Edmonton area, we understand that there will need to be service and maintenance done in those areas. We would like to assure you that no matter where you are located; there is a regional technician in your area that will be available to service your alarm if needed.
